The lower position is to design a saddle device at the bottom of the walking beam, lift the mast with eight oil cylinders, and then translate the entire trolley. In this way, the center line of the tunnel coincides with the center line of the trolley formwork, and the trolley is in place.

The walking design of tunnel lining trolleys is divided into two types: wheel-rail type and walking type. For the wheel-rail type, before the trolley travels, the rails are laid according to the center of the tunnel and the cross-section of the trolley, generally 43 or 50 rails.
